Rain is almost a British pastime.
We talk about it all the time, and it hits us in the side of the head most days.
Well, between 200 and 220 days a year by this account – which is a respectable amount worldwide.
In fact, the UK is really only dryer than the rainforests and a couple of select places along the North of Russia – putting some backing to our endless discussion (and complaints) about the weather.
There actually is meant to be a massive storm this weekend… so that will add two days to the total.
(For reference, 210 days a year is almost 60% of the time – so 6 in 10 days will be soggy)
