Almost entirely because I miss Great British Bake Off, have a look at a lovely little infographic about the rise of baking.

Interestingly, this is one of the places where print still beats online – 61% garner inspiration from cookbooks, compared to 38% who search online.

I think what's disappointing here is that, despite a day celebrating pancakes, only 55% have made any kind of batter-based dessert in the last year – including pancakes.
