Competitive eating

65 hard-boiled eggs in 6 minutes 40 seconds. 9 jars of mayonnaise in eight minutes. 68 hot-dogs in ten minutes.

Competitive eating is terrifying and awesome – and this infographic from Food Service Warehouse is a cute and creative little thing.

Also, surprisingly, all these records still stand – the full list is quite the interesting read.

The best features in this infographic have to be the comparisons though – 68 hot-dogs is enough to power the body for 7 days, and is delivering energy to the body 4000x faster than a taser (not sure about that one, but we'll play along).

Your RDA for fat is 65g – eating 9 jars of mayonnaise exceeds this slightly. Well, 2,791g is about 43 days worth of fat.

And that's enough power, magically, to fuel a Prius for 45 miles.

I'm hungry.
