One of the best things about living in the country/going camping is lying down, looking up, and just drifting off.
But, the sky is becoming increasingly off-limits for many of us – and as Pierantonio Cinzano's heatmap shows (the website is very Italian) we're really being kept in the dark by the light.
England really is suffering, more so than most countries – a good half see a sky with fewer than 400 stars, compared to upwards of 1000 in Scotland.
You practically have to leave our continent entirely to see upwards of 1300.
Always nice to have an excuse for a holiday.
